John Putch began his professional career as an actor at the age of five, in a summer theater run by his Father.  He is the son of actress Jean Stapleton and late Producer/Director William H. Putch.  He has had a respectable television and film acting career but now enjoys directing.  Notable films include the cult indie favorites: VALERIE FLAKE, BACHELORMAN, MOJAVE PHONE BOOTH and ROUTE 30.  TV directing includes: Scrubs, My Name Is Earl, Ugly Betty, Grounded For Life and Son Of The Beach and multiple television movies and mini-series.
